heyas!

uh... not really sure where this post goes, somewhere in this section of the forums, somehow...

ANYWAY!

awen and i are looking to run a new game.  and we're looking at thursdays at noon SLT.  is this a good time?  there doesn't seem to be much of anything going on thursdays.  or... maybe sl is dead on thursdays, who knows?

we're kicking around a few ideas.  one is basically a word game the whole crowd can play (tribonds, madgabs, and scrambled words; like a game i used to play at another club).
and one thing i wanted to try that i had fun with once upon a time at a poetry improv club... was some improv games (think "whose line is it anyway?").
if i'm up to some scripting and building, i really want to try to put together a 'weakest link' game...

but anyway!

we want to do some test runs in the next couple of weeks.  see what works, what doesn't.

if that's all cool with everybody...?  or at least the Powers That Be?

I think that this sounds very positive!

Improvisation is a lot of fun - one of my favourites is the sort where everyone comes together to make up and continue a story.

There is much room to take inspiration from successful tv shows that use this format - great idea Bloodsong!

As to the weakest link thing - that could be really pawesome (especially if the host can say cheeky things to the participants when they are kicked out!).  Evil

Bloodsong, as its medieval month, maybe we could set up a quick stage and do some improvisational Shakespeare or a raglan play?

IMPROV SHAKESPEARE....   there's a stage in the Castle courtyard! DOOO EEEEEET!

What a piece of work is a man, how noble in reason,
how infinite in faculties, in form and moving,
how express and admirable in action, how like an angel in apprehension,
 how like a god!
