Howdy everyone Grin
Just curious about which program folks are using for textures, photos, etc.  Information for future classes.   Thanks! Grin

Mostly I use Irfanview for simple tasks, and Paint.net for more complex ones. I can't afford Photoshop and find The Gimp too complicated. Recently learned of a free program called PhotoScape that looks promising, but haven't had a chance to do more than install it and look at the interface.

I use GIMP for day to day work, and Elements for scanning and cropping negatives (GIMP doesn't do well with my film scanner).

For image editing, I use Paint.net, I can't afford Photoshop and the last stable version of GIMP no longer works for me.  Paint.net is free, which makes good enough for me since I'm broke and it still works with transparencies.

For sculpting, I have Sculptypaint, ROKURO, and TOKOROTEN, all free programs, although I have yet to do much with them aside from a few parts for builds.
