Tiny Olympics Team Fishing Event! Sunday, July 20; 2pm SLT
here's the info you need to know.
1: the 7Seas team fishing setup only allows 3 team members to fish at one time.
*however*, i have tested it, and if you want more than 3 fisherbeasts on your team, you can trade seats.
2: the 7Seas team fishing setup only allows unlimited contests. that means you will be using your full level and XP fishing abilities! (and buy bait from my vendor
)
3: the 7Seas only has red, green, blue and yellow crates. sorry, purple -- er, purkle -- guys. though i'll ask seven what it would take to get a purple set.
so, basically... each team needs to field at least 3 fisherbeasts. you will use your fishing level and bait!

Hi Blood...can you give us a breakdown of the kind of cost it will be for a person to participate; i.e. cost of a Pro rod, how much bait is required and how much it is?

a pro rod is 250 (make sure you get a tiny pro rod if you only want to use it with your tiny avatar). it comes loaded with... i forget, but i think it's 50 pieces of bait.
bait buckets are 30, and come with 100 bait to load into the rod.
i've never used more than one bucket at any contest (1 hour). then again, i dont spam the fishing gesture. oh and um... my luck at catching things sucks :X
so 280-310 ells should do.

also note in the costs above... you'll want to be at a high level of xp/levels to get the rarer (and worth more point-ier) fish. that means fishing a lot and using a lot of bait. im still at level 4, but i dont think ive used more than.... 3-5 buckets of bait.

these are posted in-world at the willow creek fishing beach.

1: Each Team can field 3 official fisherbeasts. You must sit on your Team's coloured crates to score.
You may have alternates standing by in case your main fisherbeasts crash or lag out.
2: The tournament will start at exactly 2:00:00 and run for 60 minutes.
3: There is to be NO tormenting, teasing, poking, slapping, or saying mean things to my seal!
EXTRA:------------------------------------------
You will not just be fishing for fish, but for OLYMPIC fish! Yes, Zayn was joking when he said that, but now it is REAL! I have a beta test of Seven's Custom Fish Server, and I have created some OLYMPIC FISH!
For every fish you catch, you have a 1 in 10 chance to also catch a custom OLYMPIC fish. There are three team fish, plus the great white Tiny Olympics Commemorative fish, and a very rare Torch-Bearing fish!
The Olympic fish will be catchable by anyone, and will remain available throughout the Tiny Olympics.
