List of secondary Charities to pick 2010

We've already settled on our adopted animals that we adopted last year, mainly Elish the Giraffe at the ZSL Zoo in the UK and Fluffy The Malayan Tapir who lives at the Sedgewick Zoo in Kansas of the US. We're looking to raise money to continue our adoption of Ellish and Fluffy so that they continue to be well cared for but we'd also like to give the Raglan community the opportunity to pick 2 other secondary charities.

Heres some animal based charities to choose from. Please pick ONE organization from each category.
One category is general animal care and the other is for specific animal care. Feel free to click the links and go to each web site for more information. We'll tally the votes after Medieval Festival and announce the winners.

Again our goal for fundraising this year is at least $100,000 L so please donate generously if you can and let everyone else know as well! You can donate at the Wishing Well at the Medieval Square or by using the stockades (Put someone in the stocks today!!) on The Raglan Shire Sim.

Category one: General Animal Organizations:

http://www.oneworldwildlife.org/ - History: With the slogan, “We share one earth, saving them is saving ourselves,” One World Wildlife is a newer organization devoted to saving the world’s animals, include those living in our local habitats. What they do: The organization works to save animals from dangerous situations and to protect their natural ecosystems.

Health care is provided in the light and airy Bunny Health Care Building. We recently expanded the health care building to accomodate the ever increasing number of senior rabbits that we care for.
