[Teal Freenote]

Registration is now open to all residents of SL for Raglan Shire ArtWalk 2010! Registration is online at http://sites.google.com/site/raglanshireartwalk/ and will be open through Sunday, May 2nd.

Info on deadlines and requirements is available there online.

ArtWalk will be open from May 9-30th, 2010. 

Residents of Second Life may show their artwork during this time.  Reproductions of RL artwork (painting, drawing, digital media, etc. that can be imported and put on a prim) are encouraged, along with SL artwork including photography and sculpture.
 
Last year we had over 80 artist participants exhibiting in spaces over 2 sims. This year, we hope for a good turnout and will include space in the vast center park of Raglan Shire, and in several other sims as needed. The artwork will be displayed along hedgerows in and around the sims.

Its the last week for ArtWalk 2010 *sobs*... Its a brilliant collection of RL and SL art displayed over 3 of our sims.  107 arists participating this year... WOW!  Its all up till Sunday night... then it melts away for another year.  Take another stroll thru our lovely shires and enjoy all this wonderful artwork!

It's been a quite marvellous success - a very big well done to you Teal for organising such a fabulous event and a huge thankyou to all of the artists who have decorated the Shire with such incredible work.

It's OK for it to melt away - that means that we get to get excited for it again next time!

Thank you Chaffy   I'm very proud of it. And very grateful to all the artists who have participated.  We can be so very proud of our community for supporting and appreciating the arts in a big way! Yay Raglan! You totally ROCK!
