Hey Y'all, Last weekend (I think it was) I was riding my tiny horse in the Silly Cube with Awen. And at the same time was thinking of the Kentucky Derby. And I was wondering. How about in May we have our own version of the Kentucky Derby. Tiny Style. Race and all? Being that May is the Beginning of Real Life Horse racing. I know May is our annual Artist Month walk. But this Kentucky Derby will be a one day event like the Airplane Races last weekend. So How about it? And if so anybody willing to help me build some things and/or get it going? Peace, Bree  |

I think it's an awesome idea. Can't see why we can't fit them all together. I know Shadow did a horsie thingy once where I scripted some things for her. I don't know what a kentcky derby is, but if it's similar maybe she would be willing to help out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kentucky_DerbyIn short the derby is louisville, ky's mardi gras. 2 weeks and 3 weekends of events, mini races, parties all leading up to oaks day and the derby. I'm not tooo fond of it.

This weekend is the start of the Derby patie's.
We start with Thunder over Louisville.
a 5-6 hour air show of the military's best air support and private individuals come in and fly over the ohio doing manuvers and putting on a good show.
Then by 9 pm we have a 50 min fireworks.

Selah has been talking about wanting to host another dance. Maybe we could have a big Derby dance. She and Glen did such a good job on that end of winter one.

I loved the winter formal that Selah and Glen did the music for. I say, get them back. I've had a horse since the Shire did western, so I'm all for some racing. I don't trot him around nearly enough.
And I have some jump show stripes that I could share if you need jumps with that. Unless you're doing flat racing.

Maybe someone can build a track with mechanical horses for us to race?!
We're running low on time if we wanna make this happen in time.
If there isn't enough interest in KD, maybe we can find another event theme/slot this summer?

Ladies dress up in spring dresses with big hats. Some put horses in their hats to show Kentucky Derby. Maby some Lilys for the Oaks or Roses for the Derby.

Pirate Summer 2 coming this summer Like last year, we'll turn the entire central raglan shire area into a giant Pirate cove, with Rabbit Skull island, pirate ships, beaches along with sharks and an undersea creatures swimming under the waves. |
