With all the Tiny shutterbugs and artists, I was surprised I couldn't find a topic on this already! I thought I'd share a couple of photography tips and see what else Raglan has to say about it. ^.^
1) Use the Windlight lighting and atmosphere settings to create or emphasize mood in your pictures.

It's accessed from the World menu, but I recommend getting the Emerald viewer to make accessing these adjustments easier. I made a blog post about it -
link here.
2) Use ctrl-8 and ctrl-0 to zoom in and out, and ctrl-0 to put the view back to normal. This zoom isn't like using the regular scroll zoom, however, and that is what makes it useful for photography. If you zoom in with the scroll wheel, you end up with perspective distortion (like if you're zooming in on your snout, it will look huge while the rest of your head looks smaller).

Using the ctrl-# keys minimizes this distortion and gives pictures a more professional appearance even when zoomed in close.

It should be noted that when you use this zoom method, it is easier to accidentally block your view with something. I often forget to ctrl-9 back to normal after a shot and wonder why I'm having trouble seeing anything. Also, if the camera is on one side of a wall, this kind of zoom won't zoom through it. Finally, don't use this zoom from
too far away or you'll notice the rendered level of detail breaking down. Use a combination of standard and ctrl-# zoom for the best results.
Anyone else have photography tips to share?
