[Crafty Scientist]

  I was just wondering what everyone thought of having a Scientific/Sci Fi month. One where we could learn about science in both an educated and entertaining environment. Have maybe guest speakers and movies as well as a dance of some sort. Just a suggestion from the new brat in town. Give me your opinion and maybe someone can make is happen.

I'd love the idea! A lot of tinies are inherently interested in science - hey maybe we could link this to another rocket competition!

Oh, that someone that can make it happen might as well be you! Just start planning and putting things together and ask for help both here and inworld and before you know it, you have organized Science Month!

April is Raglan Shires 3rd Birthday and the whole month will be Sci FI themed. We have a Raglan Event and activities group that works behind the scenes to organize all our themed months and activities but anyone can be involved as well and offer up suggestions and help out. The science as learning aspect is fab, list all ideas here and we can see about incorporating them into the Sci Fi Birthday month.

Oh this a great idea! Maybe we can see if Clowey has some ideas from the big ol' science sim she works at? And Krull Aeon is the one with the rocket competitions.

We could have maybe different areas throughout the shires - one to learn about nature, one for chemistry, one for outer space (know where that could be!), a natural history area etc, etc?

  Cool. I could maybe help with some of the sci fi stuff as well. I do a little building and most of my stuff i make purely for my own amusement. So if you like any of it feel free to use it. Just let me know.

we're looking at having 2 big sci fi themed tournaments (one involving Krull) that folks can enter. More info on those soon. Plus there will be Live musical performances, Parties, prolly a Sci fi themed race. again moi\re info to come but i really like the science education slant you came up with. think up something along those lines... SCIENCE

If you need help with any Sci-Fi builds, let me know I have a lot of textures and Sci-Fi stuff I already made, keep in mind I first joined Raglan during one of the Sci-Fi months, the exact one when Raglan Galaxy first opened up
