Raglan U is looking for interested folks who would like to be part of the Raglan U Teaching Team!

Teaching is a skill both rewarding and fun! If you have ideas on how to help fellow tinies to learn things in Second Life then we would love you to be a part of Raglan U!

We are looking for folks to teach ( Insert your ideas for classes here) of all different skillsets!

Wanna teach folks how to build a couch? Wanna teach folks how to use software? how to use LSL? How to make cookies? XD As a member of the faculty of Raglan U, You’ll come up with interesting topics to edumucate your fellow Tinys in the Raglan Commuity Smiley

Even if you’ve never taught before, we will be presenting an orientation class taught for prospective and established teachers on how to teach in Second Life and what you’ll need to do to be successful. Cheesy

If you would like to be involved or have any questions about joining the Faculty of Raglan U please please please post your name here or contact Awenbunny Lisle or Misa Delight!

WinkI have more classes that can be re-written with the tiny in mind.  They are as follows:

FALL

Pumpkin Fairy Lights
Cornicopia Chair with sit pose
Hollowed Ornament (this one can be taught all seasons)
Pumpkin Patch with Falling Leaves Emitter (this class takes around 1.5 hours due to the number of prims and adjusting the emitter script)

Christmas

Hollowed Ornament
SnowGlobe (this class will require builders being comfortable using alpha and transparent textures and a couple minor changes to an emitter script)

All Season Classes include:

Tiny Conversation Chairs
Modern Sculpture Fountain Class
Old World Elven FirePlace
Medium Marble Fountain
Gazing Ball Fountain
Giant Rocking Chair
Throne
SandCastle Class (this is a more advanced class that will require using their cameras for prim placement and will take at least 1.5 hours)
Wetbar Fishtank Class (this is also a more advanced class)
Multi-picture Frame with Water prim
Wagon Flower Garden
Star Fountain with Flower Beds
Porch Swing
Meditation SandBox with fountain, chimes, pillow and tree with shadow

I think that's it.  I will need time to shrink most of the classes that aren't already tiny and get the supplies ready so if we have sme interest in a specific class or classes I will need at least 2 days notice to make them tiny please.

I never did this before, but it might be fun Grin

I already help out a lot in a new resident area, so I can spread that over to Raglan as well Cool

I just have to work around my RL schedule  Undecided, but if I can find a good time slot I can pull out a lot of resources I have gathered for stuff Lips Sealed

I've never taught or attended a class in SL, but I would really like to. I'd like to teach clothes-making, animating, and especially sound recording. I can't teach animating yet, as I'm trying to develop a workflow myself. Sound-recording is something I think we need more of, so that's the first class I think we need. We're not all zayn, nor should we sound like him.
