Aerodrome Vendors Wanted!

Hi Tiny Creators! *waves*

I have a "Gift Shop" in my Terminal at the new Raglan Aerodrome I've been working on (SLURL http://slurl.com/secondlife/Raglan%20Commons/144/181/23), and I'm seeking vendors to populate it! I'm offering around 8 prims per vendor/creator, at no charge.

Here are my guidelines:
-Please, ONLY tiny aviation-related items!
-Try to avoid hovering text -- please put your product information on the texture or a notecard.
-Please be willing to work with me to move your items around the shop as needed.
-Freebies, demos, landmarks to your main store welcomed!

Rental fee? L$0.  Why? I just want to encourage tinies to use the airfield! If you have good sales and want to toss me a tip now and then... :-D

Some info about the Aerodrome: its theme is Steampunky/Art Deco, but conceptually it's "undergoing perpetual restoration." In other words, it'll go through changes throughout the year to keep things fresh! All flying machines are welcome, and biggies are welcome too! We'll have events throughout the year, beginning with a Grand Opening party this Saturday!

Hey Bith sounds great but FYI.. saturday Legos and Blodwynna are hosting a Dance and trivia thingy at 1pm at the Castle and afterwards on morning Shire Tiny Tama is having a big grand opening for their New Tama Motors shop. they'll be putting on a Motorcycle race for everyone to participate in using the Walkways all over Morning SHire as the track.

So check wot time you doing your shin dig.. can always check to see if stuffs listed on Raglan Calendar of events too and if you want yur thingy to be on the calendar, let one of us know

I have been working on some new aviator outfits at the request of Fox and Eleanora too, so I'm sure I can do something to assist.

And, while my advert for creators stands, I'm still new to tinydom and don't want to come across too strong (even though I'm excited!). If there is a better time to have the actual opening I'm cool with that, and will happily defer to the more experienced tinies here. Just let me know and I'll pick another day!

Well, I'd love to have attended the opening of the aerodrome but it's some kind of silly-o'clock for me at 5.30pm SL time, so I'll wish you all the best for it now - and seeing as Lego and Bloddy's thing is at 1pm and I can't imagine that TAMA's opening will go on any longer than 3 hours, I don't why there's an issue with having it at that time?

Anyhoo, have fun with it, and I know you've got some aerobatic-style events planned for a later date, so I'm also happy to see an airfield back on the Commons, and such a grand one too! Hooo!

Aww, sure wish you could attend! But yesh, this is just the opening...more fun events at the aerodrome down the road!

Hope some tinies can stop by...and...still looking for vendors! If you have tiny airship/plane/aviation item creators as buddies, please point them to this thread or to me! Vendor space for free, man! It's like....steam! on a stick!!

er, wait.. steamed socks??  hmmmm... Is that anything like steamed rice?

  A bit more on the serious (and on-topic) side, I really, really hope things go fantasticly for the Aerodrome!  I'm still working on getting the steampunk cafe set up.  Just need the time to put some finishing touches on it, and then rebuild the rest of the tube works to fit it in!

Hope to see some of the not-exhausted-from-partying-all-day tinies at our little soiree.

And, hope it inspires some creators to make a few aviation-type stuffs to put in the FREE VENDOR AREA! *giggles*
