oki this feedback sound good.

built into it are:
1. Raglan Shire
2. Silica Cubicle
3. Primtionary Platform
4. Raglan Galaxy
5. The Great Tree Steve
these are buttons on the hud
then in addition i can collect LMs to put in (museum, etc)

and ya the whole point of this thing is to let ppl put in their own LMs - so they can add as many as they want. those you get to by using the arrows - so it just scrolls thru how ever many you got in the content tab

However, since this a freebie i hard-coded some raglan ones. it's raglanized!

originally these had some lil icons but now the buttons just have colors and numbers (karms had some good criticism about legibility). not sure if i will go back and work on more icons right now as i literally spent 6 hours making the thing, revising it, testing, etc.  so right this minute i cant commit to different graphics.

but i will add LMs! fishin, museum.... wot else?

bwhaha 6 hours to build, then i get online and within 60 seconds poor misa is tearing out her fur by the pawfull. i wasnt that critical! it was all constructive! i swear! squabbit's honor.
* Karmagirl Avro holds up paw

no really i have a 14 or 15 inch lcd monitor which is old and small and I can barely see anything. buttons on huds are small at best.

ok what other places heron shire tavern, raglan university, paw and whisker that is when it there, museum, fishing dock and im sure i forgetting some place.

i agree with chaffro we cannot list everyone's store or they will either get outdated or it will just take too long. if they have a fav store they more than welcome to put it in the hud themselves.

Thanks Misa. I'm already filling it up. Also, we can put in welcome centers and places like theParticle lab, the prim tower thing and other learning places.

I tied out the new HUD it works great. I did make it a bit smaller and moved it over a bit, just my taste.

Thanks Misa!

Oh this sounds cool!
I like HUDs that are resizeable because I am sometimes on a laptop, but mostly on the tv downstairs... and after you're about 10 feet away, HUDs that are too tiny become unusable.
Plus none of us is getting any younger and our eyes will start to complain ;-)

Okay I a little late on the LM thing, but there's a notecard in the Welcome Center that has the major Raglan Venues in it, without any Raglan merchant locations for the very reasons of clutter / outdatedness mentioned. Poke around in it if you wants for the orb thingie. Smiley

Oh, and back on topic:

I use...
1) A loop rezzer for necklaces called LinkRez (I think that's the name... I'll look it up if anyone asks). It lets me do all kinds of things from a simple chain to a complex pattern using varied beads. Even the simple chain's parameters can be altered to tweak length, width, the angle at which the links rest, and the angle at which the chain itself hangs. I usually use this for the base of necklaces and then build off of it by hand as needed depending on the particular design. It saves oodles of time previously spent on tweaking each link which I can then put back into overall design and into creating more detailed baubles and patterns.

2) An in-world sculpt tool called Sculpt Studio. Choosing your sculpting tool is a very personal decision affected by a number of factors, but for me, this particular in-world tool is more efficient and more fun than the out-of-world alternatives. I am already skilled at building in-world, and this allows me to use that skill instead of learning an entirely new interface. It is limited in some ways but perfect for most of my needs.

3) Panacea Pangea's (spelling?) 5 prim texture organizer. Notable features are that it can be rezzed or worn as a HUD, displays 20 textures per page (or 16? not sure), has a search feature, and has the ability to automatically detect duplicates regardless of name and delete them if you choose. I like their simplicity and low-prim footprint and have my entire library sorted into about 25 copies of these. Now if only she'd make one for sculpts, life would be truly sweet. ^.^

4) As a merchant, I also use Pan's 1 prim vendors. Through some beautiful prim torture, they show next and previous previews as well as the current item, all on one prim. She's also made another one recently that shows 8-ish (again, memory fails me) items at once and is still just one prim.

5) This isn't an in-world tool, but I use the GreenLife Emerald viewer instead of the one provided by LL. It looks nearly identical, so there was no interface adjustment, but it has a few more options that I adore. For one thing, it lets you play with lighting and environment without having to go 3 levels deep in the menu, which is great for photography. It also does a few other handy things, such as putting draw distance in easy reach instead of burying it in settings. Just toss the name into Google and it should be the first result.

As for the day-to-day stuff... I use Noramyr's Tiny AO and a simple HUD I made myself for toggling sit and lay-down, rather than a full Tinymatic, just as personal preference. And of course the TinyCam.

Pipemaker.  It's not always perfect, and the script is prone to odd errors (like failing to delete itself so you end up with 2x as many as you need, overlaid so you don't see them until you run out of prims and go "hey!  Where'd my prims go??")

Beyond that, PsiTec and ProTec (not so much anymore, thankfully), Terra Infinity jet pack... that's about it on my must-have list.
