I start  Cheesy

I recently discovered the SALT hud. You wear the hud and say in chat what size megaprim you'd like, and it comes up with a list of megaprims of that (approximate) size. You click one and it's delivered to you!

As far as I know, it's only available at SLX, so get one at:

(or go to SLX and search for salt)

GrinI love my SKIDZ texture organizer...the best part, it has individual folders on it that allow you to name them, and there are folders for sculpted and sounds...and the bestest part, you can either put it on the ground like a normal organizer OR wear it as a hud!  Which is fantastic if you are in a building contest or someplace where you want a texture but can't build!  I love this thing and have moved all my textures to it, and of course it's copy so I have a bunch now.

Oh the SALT Hud is wonderful. Now you dont have to keep all those megaprims in your inventory!

I also loves my Mystitool, though it has so many goodies I am still learning it after months LOL

I am really liking the Greenlife Emerald viewer!  Seems faster and also has great tools - the built in radar is amazing!  and the builders tools are really nice and thoughtful.

And a little known tool - the Show Hide + Sync HUD .
https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=1450069
Show Hide and Sync most pose balls easily. Issues multiple Show Hide and Sync commands on user configurable channels simultaneously with ONE CLICK. Can Whisper (10m), Say (20m) or Shout (100m). Great for finding pose balls on SIMS you are exploring. Perfect for in-home use when different pose balls are on different channels (comes preset with the most common channels). Add your own channels just by editing the notecard inside (one channel per line - reset scripts after editing). Attaches to HUD so no zooming to find it or taking up a prim.

Tinycam.  Hands down.  Beyond that, I like Argent Stonecutter's Argent's Dock.  TinyCam, Otter Monitor (radar), and flight feather all in one compact easy to use hud.

Other than that, I don't use alot of huds.  Tinymatic.  PsiTec and ProTec, but I almost never need or use those anymore.

Oh.  And the tube creation tool.  Very, very handy one that Smiley

My everyday tools are Bloodsong's TAO2 (I modded it to be lower profile), and a De-ruther HUD Wink

I use Ferd's Free Google Translator on an as needed basis when I need to translate something Cool

I also have a bunch of tools I use while working on projects:

1.  The Porgan 1800, for messing with particles
2.  Puppeteer (free edition), for prim animation
3.  A modded tiny pose stand for attachment adjusting
4.  A Prim move/ land marker HUD, for fine tuning builds and finding parcel lines
5.  Bloodsong's Prim Mirror Package, for making reversed copies of builds
6.  The Ceawlin Texture Organizer, to keep track of my huge collection of textures
7.  And a bunch of full permed, open source items to use as inspiration or parts for builds

So you see here, I'm loaded with a bunch of useful tools Grin

I recently stumbled upon Email-2-IM. It lets you send an IM to someone from your e-mail.

You do need a piece of land to place the prim the script is in. Once the prim is placed, you enter the email adress you want to send the IMs from, it sends a message to that address, and the only thing you have to do is reply to that mail, put the name of the recipient in the subject line and write your message in the body!  Cheesy

Bo, that Email-2-IM gizmo sounds dangerous if it doesn't have the right safeguards.

I could see a griefer setting one of those up on an email address run by a 'bot, and spamming people here with a constant stream of IMs.

bo...

i dunno, but i send ims to people who are offline, who get it in their email, then reply to it and it gets to me in world.  i dont THINK they need a special prim to do that.  i think the im-to-email somehow manages that.  sound like a rip-off to me.  :/  but i can ask them.

gee, i was gonna say prim mirror for my tool.
and loop rez.
my animation platforms.  like posestands, with multiple anims.  that way, i can check how things fit and work in motion.

i use cool viewer, because it has the older, smaller im windows and the old icons and stuff i like.  havent tried emerald.  if it doesnt have those things, i probably won't like it.

Yeah all you have to do is check in preferences receive IM to email when offline - easy-smeasy.  And yes Karma, it does that, sometimes sends IM to email when you are actually online.  Used not to, but now it does sometimes.

I've fallen in love with a HUD. It's the Anti-AFK HUD by Noland Brokken
I picked mine up from a kid's club called Club Fluffy's
It's in a Noob box with lots of other freebies.

I also have a DanceHUD you can pick up from the freebie walls at any NCI wall
