I have a vision of gun made specially for tinies that could shoot (or throw) all kinds of wacky things such as: rubber ducks, waffles, toilet paper rolls, silly string, watermelons, tomatoes, boogers, pizzas, cows, bologne sandwiches, french toast, frootcakes, cow patties, cat box litter, etc. .... anything funny or silly.  Thus the name silly-gun.  I don't know of any gun builders for tinies.  Mostly we have freebie "throwers."  I got this idea one night after the famous chicken incident in the Silli-cube where I "accidentally" murdered one of Misa's chickens and she went ballistic and called in like 20 tinies to come attack me.  Everyone had a different "thrower" or gun and I was laughing so hard in RL at all the silly stuff being shot at me.    Would be neato and would prolly sell well and be fun!!!

Eric Linden's open source thrower script is the one in most of the tiny throwers. It could also be used in a gun (in fact was made for a pop-gun), we'd just need a different animation to trigger when wearing/firing it than the one that's in it for a thrower.

Okay okay, settle down. The bigger question is, did he eat it afterwards?  'cause if not, thats wanton waste, and thats a big fine.  Loss of hunting privelages.  Lots of nasty things happening.  Shunning by the other predators. tsk tsk.
  But, if he ate it, or at least part of it, then it's all good.

Some tinies already have a few parts for crazy throwers!!

I have two scripts that work great, one for single items (easy to tweak) and the other to toss random stuff

Etheria Parrott makes a good tiny throw animation

Maybe tinies can pool their resources to make a lot of crazy guns and throwers for all to enjoy!!

Do you want it to a. Be able to all of those at once or b. Able to change between the different types of bullet?

if b then you could add a dialog script into the linden's gun script that will change a variable called bulletType or something like that.

if it's a then just have multiple llRezObjects.

Great idea by the way!

 

P.S. You could also have it shoot randomly like Ray said in an earlier post.

I bet a few tinies have seen me with a mini gun I have been modding, its going to be loaded with as much crazy ammo as I can think of.  I will just have to come up with a system to switch between items easily, if I tweak it right it might also use anything else some one puts in it as ammo!!
