Yes, we can reset it before each round.  Then everyone starts fresh in the semi-finals.  That's probably  more fair anyway.  Good idea.!

Trebek - you're not rubbish!  you're great.  Thanks so much for designing the trophy!

Makes it easy then Cheesy Just reset before each round. Might be useful to have some volunteers who aren't participating to jot down the scores of each table too as a backup.

Yus! They look so good!

Now just need to get the word out. It's such a shame the group isn't working, a notice advertising the tournament would be good.

Last night when I left, we were up to 19, I think.

So here's what I think about a schedule.

Saturday would be just the prelims, and they would hopefully run every 45 minutes.  So:

11:00
11:45
12:30
1:15

We'd be done by 2 unless we have more than 20 folks.

Then Sunday would be the semi-finals and finals.  Maybe 5 games each - an hour each

11:00 - Semi Round 1

12:00 - Semi Round 2

1:00 - Final

2:00  - Awards Ceremony

Thoughts?

I'm going to offer the Prelims in two groups.  11 and 11:45 in one group, 12:30 and later in another.  So the EUROS can sign up for the first groups if they want to.

And as far as the scoring is concerned - I've noticed the leader board doesn't always record scores.  It's got to do with how high someone is in the world standings.  So I don't think we can use it.

So... Davey and I should record each person's actual numeric score, and the two with the lowest total numeric score at the end of each round will move up.

We can save LOCAL CHAT as a record, and record them here.

Gotcha, which means I think I won't play because otherwise it might be hard to keep track of everyone's scores XD

No problem! Though just to let you know, I'm going to miss Sat's one completely. I'll be in the middle of work when it starts. Won't get home until 1pm SLT, but I'll pop on as soon as I get home.
