Tootsie Noontan recently directed me to this very detailed starter tutorial for making your own tiny poses in Qavimator.

Get the Application for FREE (good price, me likes)!

Free is always good, me also likes.

I hope more ppl make animations and dances. If it not to complimacated for my squabbity brain I will attempt it. there is also a beta or test grid ppl can log into first to test animations/dances for free, instead of spending $L uploading wonky not yet perfect animations.

I forget how to do that exactly, I had it set up so I could go to beta grid, but SL saw fit to reset ALL my preferences, oh joy! Tongue

This tutorial is a good beginning. Additionally make sure you lock every joint that wasn't necessary for the tiny crush at least one degree or it will exhibit horrible default to human parts-ness. Notably the hands, left & right collar and left & right thighs. Leave the head at all zeros if you want it to look around naturally. Lock the head and neck by moving it one degree for a laying pose otherwise it might try and turn upside down to look at something. I use hip height 27 for standing on the ground.

I'd like to invite everyone to post their tiny basic bhv to the Vault, elsewhere on this forum!   Cheesy

Also, I'm working on a animation/posing library inworld, which needs some initial setup.

Regarding my last post: I quit that idea (an inworld tiny animation library) due to lack of time and organization.  Crosslips

Bo - You are a mind reader - I'm so glad you high lighted this thread again. There are so many threads filled with useful stuff that go unseen for ages. The link at the start of this is exactly what i have been looking for.

Hooray for Bo once again!!
And Chaff for posting the link in the first place. ;-)

It looks like it, Bloodfang... however,
the cached version might work, for now Smiley

If the inworld idea flopped, I made a section on my web site for us to help each other with custom content before uploading to SL; A link can be found on the Raglan Shire web site home page or in my SL profile. Cool

The Box.net tab on my site has a folder for SL items, that sub-folders into different categories including one for animations; I made that area for collaborative projects for those who may not have the time or might not have all the skills needed. Wink

Every thing there is free for people to sign up on, just let me know in some way so I can add you to the lists, I have to keep some people out to avoid clutter. Wink
