Sooo... I'm in a train and I will be here for the next few hours and I'm bored!!

Anyone know of light SL clients for Windows Mobile? (Or other platforms, for anyone interested)

I've been looking at Vollee which is great but isn't released for my HTC Diamond)

Thanks and choo-choo to you!

Hmm i know over in Europe where you're at , the Mobiole tech is a year ahead of what we just now getting.  Over in the states with the new Smart Phones, Iphones and G1 phones, you can surf actual web pages and stuff instead of a WAP version of the web.  If you has true web ability on yur mobile, you might be able to use the Web Enabled clients for SL like Ajaxlife or Movablelife or maybe SLeek or SLIM

all of those are chat only with no graphics. I use Ajax and Movable Life at work.

I would think these should work for mobiles.

Ok, thanks!!  Lips Sealed

I tried it all and found out that SLeek is a bit unsupported at the moment and requires, like SLim, a client. So that won't really work on my PDA (WM6.1).
But I has true web capabilities and I've just been logged in with MovableLife, yay!!   Grin Ajax is still loading but hasn't moved for 10 mins or so - that might be not working. But I'm happy!  Cheesy

I left Windows Mobile in favour of Android and haven't regretted it for a second!

There is a text-based client for Android, called "Mobile Grid Client" and it works like a charm. Like I said, it is text-only but at least it shows you a map of the sim you're on (if you like pictures Wink).
Search the Android Market for Second Life and it will turn up. First 10 days it's free, after that it's L$450 a month.

If you have an iPhone, you could investigate Pocket Metaverse:
