Our crest doesn't have purkle either, and that's where I picked the yarn colours. Maybe Dress Raglan will have some purkle.

ya, the new Crest doesnt actually have purkle in it. ( new crest is top of this page). Its tricky but when Wynx and me were going over the new design that she did, for wotever reason, purple just didnt look right. She tried every shade of purkle imaginable but ultimately we both agreed that the shade of Blue we went with looked best. Red & Green & Purkle is the offical colors though of Raglan still. lol. Merry Wootmas all !

For clarity, the tartan may be used by Artisans of Raglan in their for-sale or free creations. If anyone would like to try their hand at weaving, the software I used is Fabricweaver http://www.geomantics.com/fabricweaver.htm.

Could we have a tartan in the traditional Raglan colors too?

If someone directs me to a suitable sample of the colours, I'll do an "Ancient Raglan" tartan.

By request, here is Ancient Raglan Tartan, based on some of the colours from the old crest, with purple prominent. The in-world texture will be available for free in my shop on Heron Shire.
