ARCHERY! ITS INTENTS!
This past weekend marked the 2nd weekend of Medieval Activities and we had much fun as well as much Grid wonkery! On Saturday we were treated to some medieval music from the Bootleg Bard Band at the Castle stage. TIny’s jigged and had a most excellent time. Later that day we all gathered to watch the classic film , Monty Python and the Holy grail which was sadly marred by grid issues which caused the Heron Shire sim to crash twice. Still, the film is at the Forest Theater for folks to watch at their leisure. Its a great film! NI!
Sunday everyone gathered for the 2nd Golden Bow Archery tournament which was most excellent! Pefect conditions allowed for a most enjoyable event for the throngs of onlookers who watched the competitors take their turn at the archery range in their quest to become the Grand Champion and take home the Golden Bow Trophy! In the end it was Chester who captured the Prize to become the Grand Champion! Way to go Chester!
Still lots more to come over the next few weeks! We finally finished all voting as well for the animals and animal charities that we’re raising money for during the Medieval Festival. Today we announced the winners of our Zoo animals! The Malayan Tapir from the Sedgwick County Zoo and Ellish the Giraffe from the ZSL Living Conservation are our main adoptee targets and will join www.otter.org and www.fundforanimals.org as our Animals and organizations we’ll be raising monehs for! Thanks to all who voted! Remember you can donate to the cause by using the Wishing Well and the Stockades in the Medieval Square on Raglan Shire! You can see more info on the forums as well.
